Microgreen Halloween

Hey everyone! Can’t believe it’s October already! I hope everyone is ready for All Hallow’s Eve and the change in seasons. Farm season for the most part is winding down but not the microgreens! I can grow them year-round with the right set up. I’m eventually going to get some kind of warehouse or grow space away from the apartment so I can control the temperature and have more space than the patio. That is one of my goals for next year so stay tuned!

I’ve been working my coffee shop job mostly and am about to be hired at a health food store called Harmony Farms. Eventually want to sell my greens through them but at the moment they have local microgreens from Durham, NC. Been trying to supply microgreens for customers who want to use the micros on their food at home. I’m creating a weekly subscription service where you can pay for the month and receive a pack of microgreens every Monday or Tuesday. Squarespace doesn’t make it easy though. I have to pay a lot more a month for those privileges so that is a work in progress. Have to figure out the monthly payment and the logistics of it all.

November 16th I’ll be selling my greens at The Optimist’s Fall festival. I’ll set up a booth with my microgreens laid out as well as a sign up sheet for my subscription service. Should be a good time. In the future I’ll be doing more markets and pop ups once I can get some infrastructure and supplies for it. I’ll update my Instagram and website to notify customers when that happens.
